The Squirrels

Smooth Operators are a seven piece cover band with a wealth of performing experience specialising in entertainment at corporate functions and special occasions. The group has dynamic male and female lead vocalists who also provide top quality harmony work, giving a rich, full sound. The three lead vocalists are backed by a tight ensemble of keyboard, lead guitar, bass guitar and drums.

Smooth Operators have a big electric sound and specialise in providing the best loved songs, generally Top 100 tunes, to fill the dance floor and keep it moving all night. Smooth Operators also have a number of lighter, relaxed pieces with and without vocals for occasions such as function dinners, and in these situations the band is adept at creating a warm ambiance without being intrusive.

The Remnants

The Chameleons

Formed by some of Canberra's most highly regarded jazz and funk musicians, The Chameleons add their own flavour to a range of well known jazz, funk, pop and rock songs.

The band comprises a standard line-up of guitar, bass and drums and is fronted by the powerhouse vocals of Rachel - A voice one needs to hear to believe.

As the name suggests, whether it be background music for an intimate event or the need for an infectious beat to dance the night away, The Chameleons can cover both ends of the scale with ease.

Tuchasoul

Brothers Steve and Rae have been performing their own brand of acoustic soul since 1999. Since then, their popularity has soared, making them one of Canberra's most regarded and highly booked acts.

Their interpretation of artists such as Cold Play, Jack Johnson, and Bob Marley have made them an instant hit with first time listeners to their music and prompted them to record an independent self titled album in 2003.

Having teamed up with other local musicians Tuchasoul is now available as a 6 piece bands for your next event.

A favourite for functions and famous for their wide ranging musical ability, Annie & the Armadillos have made a deep impression on the Canberra music industry over the past few years. The Armadillos are 3 of the region's most exciting and respected musicians providing a broad spectrum of world class accompaniment to the amazing and engaging Annette Sloane. Annie has abundant energy, a stunning voice and a presence that cannot be ignored. When a party needs starting, Annie is the undisputed champion.

The Armadillos repertoire consists of a range of classics and favourites from the decades of the last century right through to current material of today. Annie & the Armadillos can incorporate genres such as soul and groove, with a splash of rhythm and blues, disco and fresh pop with some old rock n roll and a dash of Aussie rock to top it off.

Groovalicious

Groovalicious are a 5 piece powerhouse of sound ready to fill a dance floor near you!

Combining female vocals, guitar, bass, drums and keyboard, their music caters to all tastes, ages and occasions, with a vast selection of material, from rock to pop & disco to funk, spanning the 70's, 80's & 90's to current top 40 hits.

The band is dedicated to providing professional, first class entertainment and making your event special.

The four members of Rock Zone are experienced and skilled musicians. The band is well known and respected on the Canberra music scene, having played regularly at the city's premier venues for several years.

Rock Zone perform a well balanced and varied selection of rock and pop music, with an emphasis on hits of the 80s and 90s, but also including a dash of country and some retro disco favourites. Being able to switch between male and female lead vocals adds to the versatility of the band's repertoire.

Rock Zone provides a high energy show and musicianship second to none - which has contributed to their reputation as one of Canberra's most dynamic rock cover bands.

ANDY & THE ROYS

Andy and the Roys (AnR) are one of Australia's finest quality dance, funk and groove bands. Members of the band have toured in America, experienced chart success and now enjoy playing the music of the bands and artists they toured with and supported along the way.

The show can go from a 4 piece right through to a 7 piece depending on what size band you need to make your function work. It can be BIG or small, always impressive and their sound is simply fantastic with 4 way harmonies, playing songs you know and love.

Their sets consist of classic oz anthems, disco, interpretations of pop, soul and rock classics, right through to modern day hits. Andy and the Roys has some of Australia's best and most experiences musicians on board and has that stage energy that will turn your function into something special that will be talked about long after the final curtain.

THE TULLYS

Introducing 'The Tullys' a 4-piece band, consisting of three brothers: Cameron, Jamie and Lawson Tully and singer/songwriter Mechelle Tully.

They are a professional band with an electric stage presence comprising Cameron on guitar, the mandolin and banjo, Jamie on bass guitar, rhythm guitar, mandolin and bouzouki, Lawson on drums, piano and guitar, and performs backing vocals, and Mechelle not only has a beautiful and very strong voice, but also plays and composes on piano.

The Tullys are an experienced band, having performed at many weddings, functions, fundraising events, private parties and corporate gigs. For private events and weddings they can play a selection of music including party music and popular covers from the 60's to today.

The Funky Brothers

You've heard of The Blues Brothers....Well here's The Funky Brothers. The Funky Brother costumes feature suits, complete with ties, black hats & their trademark black sunglasses.

Covering all those well known Blue Brothers hits, as well as a range of blues, soul, funk, disco and bad 80's rock.

The Funky Brothers are a five piece band comprising both male & female vocals, lead & rhythm guitars, bass guitar & drums. Additional instruments such as the harmonica, violin, saxophone, and kazoos are also incorporated where necessary.

'Chemistry' is a versatile good time party band that covers hits and memories from the 50s to now. With both male and female lead vocalists you can be sure that most of your favourite artists will be featured on the night. Musical styles include dance, disco, swing, rock n roll, rock and country.

This four piece band is suitable for all venues and functions. Chemistry is a class act with four mature and experienced musicians who are dedicated to entertaining audiences with a very clean sound, tight rhythms and beautiful vocal harmonies.

Canberra's premier ALL GIRL rock and roots band. The five-piece band plays an exciting mixture of original and cover tunes ranging from modern folk through to contemporary pop and hard rock.

The band comprises Kelly Butcher (lead vocals), Louise Butcher (harmony vocals), Cass Morgan (guitar), Laura Frame (drums) and Lauren Di Salvia (bass guitar).

The talent, creativity, and ability that GiLF combines is extraordinary. Together, this group of self-confessed music junkies have created something that has been credited by many as both unique and thoroughly entertaining.

GiLF represent a new wave of confident and professional female musicians and truly has something very special to offer.

This guitar, bass, drums outfit has played at hotels, clubs and private functions across the NSW Southern Highlands, Central West & ACT since forming in December 2009.

The members of the band Ron McLaughlan, Tony Wade and Geoff Bell are three of Goulburn's most experienced musicians and their repertoire is quite diverse.

The Queen Juanita Band is one of Canberra's premier dance and party bands. All members of the band are polished musicians with a wealth of experience over many years playing private and corporate functions, pubs, clubs and festivals both locally and interstate.

Queen Juanita provides the smoothest of vocals, piano accordion and guitar, Dr Zot adds stylish guitar and vocals, while the rhythm section featuring traditional upright bass, and tasteful drums brings dancers onto the floor whenever they play.

Queen Juanita's repertoire is taken from the hits of the 1950's and 60's including top swing, country and rock 'n roll hits of the day. So be ready to dance and party to the original sounds of rock 'n roll, rockabilly, country waltzes and cowboy cha chas as well as some old style blues and jazz to make your night a memorable one.

TOP SHELF

The band entertains its crowds with an exciting mix of current and classic live rock played the way rock should be played.

Topshelf is Brad Hartland (lead vocals, acoustic guitar, harmonica, percussion), Guy Hutchison (lead guitar, backing vocals), Colin Enright (rhythm guitar, backing vocals, percussion), John Van Buuren (bass guitar) and Ian Heffernan (drums).

The band delivers its music with a combination of great rock vocals, plenty of crowd involvement, blazing guitar solos and a tight, driving rhythm section. A night out with Topshelf, whether it's at one of Canberra's top venues, a corporate function or a private party, is a memorable event.

An international mix of talented musicians who have individually plied their wares worldwide including London's Savoy Hotel, the Sands Hotel Las Vegas and the Surf Venues of California. Playing a range of music to suit all tastes, this band has the ability to generate enough energy to fill a rock venue or sufficient relaxation to allow you to listen to pleasant background music over dinner.

The B Naturals

The B Naturals have been together since 2008 and have accumulated a range of songs from bossa-nova to techno.

Melissa Alexander is out front singing and playing percussion. Melissa brings her dynamism to the songs of Aretha Franklin, and Blondie to name a few.

Lead guitar is handled by Tim Kelly on his vintage Les Paul Gibson guitar. Tim also gets behind the mic to deliver soulful renditions of Vince Jones classics amongst others.

Ross Buchanan is the keyboard maestro of blues & boogie. He adds Roland synthesizer to create crazy cosmic ambience
Mike Oakley's subtle drumming compliments James Weatherly's sub-woofing bass guitar licks and together the whole band gives something for everyone.

We don't just play songs, we pull them apart, enhance them, then put them back together to perform them with our own flavour and quality of sound. Fate has brought the band members together as a means of providing you with fantastic music to dance to and a visual spectacular like no other - A spontaneous & entertaining show.

As Famous as the Moon

As Famous as the Moon was formed in 1995 and in that time these talented musicians have played over one thousand performances. More notable performances are Sydney Opera House, the prestigious "Side on Café" in Sydney, Manly Jazz Festival, National Gallery, National Museum, Parliament House and the National Convention Centre.

As Famous as the Moon have tried to be as flexible a jazz group as possible. The band performs as a trio, quartet and quintet situations regularly. The basic line up is saxophone, double bass and guitar and where the situation arises, drums and vocals are added. We can also accommodate a pianist, percussionist and other instruments such as trumpet, trombone or other saxophones if need be.

The Eight Balls are a 4 piece band consisting of lead guitar, bass guitar, drums and outstanding vocals. Its members are big believers that music should be played the way it was originally made and as a result, The Eight Balls reproduce the authentic sounds of the best rock classics without relying on artificial aids.

Avionix is an acclaimed three-piece rock band playing your favourite 70's, 80's, 90's and naughties Australian pub rock. Established in 1997 Avionix take pride in their clear vocals and harmonies backed by driven guitar sounds, classic leads and solid bass and drums.

Favourite artists and influences include Green Day, Jet, Powder Finger, Paul Kelly, Foo Fighters, The Angels, The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Cold Chisel, ACDC, Hunters & Collectors, Hoodoo Gurus and Australian Crawl.

Second Movement

The band plays a variety of covers featuring the music of bands such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kinks, Hollies, Searchers, Turtles, Neil Diamond, Monkeys, Everly Brothers, Elvis, The Animals, Buddy Holly, Elton John and Bee Gees to name but a few.

The band have expanded their repertoire to include some great dance tracks and feature numbers from the seventies, eighties and nineties. The band is known for the tight harmonies and energy on stage.
